What greater gift is there than the gift of life? That’s exactly what every blood donation delivers. Blood and blood products are a critical part of everyday medical care including major surgeries, medical procedures, cancer treatments and managing disease.
This year we have set up group donation times at the King Street Donor Centre. If you are unable to donate during those times, you can still count your donation for volunteer hours! Simply book your own appointment at one of the many donation centers across the city and mention you are donating under Raymond James/RJ Cares Month. Remember to also log your donation in our Volunteer reporting portal
ELIGIBILITY INFORMATION
- Do you weigh less than 110lbs?
- Have you travelled outside of Canada, the continental U.S. or Europe in the past 21 days?
- Call 1-888-2 Donate and press 5 to check with a nurse if you are currently taking medication
- In the past 3 months have you gotten a tattoo/piercing?
- Do you have a cold/flu?
- Have you had a cleaning or filling today or dental surgery in the last 72 hours?
- If you're unsure take the Eligibility Quiz or call 1-888-236-6283 to speak to a nurse.
