Who is the Daily Bread Food Bank? Daily Bread Food Bank fights hunger in our communities, providing food and support to almost 200 food programs across Toronto. What services does the Daily Bread Food Bank provide? Since its founding in 1983, Daily Bread has grown to become one of Canada’s largest food banks. The bank supplies food to almost 200 food programs across Toronto. It has recently been working to tackle the issue of food loss and greenhouse gas emissions. They do this by rescuing fresh “perfectly imperfect” produce from local farms.
